While driving around doing errands and preparing for our camping which is starting next week, we explored a bit around Christchurch. Evidence of the earthquakes is everywhere, from cracked building walls to containers acting as retaining walls to historic buildings undergoing reconstruction.
We ended up at New Brighton Peir and took a short walk on the magnificent beach that stretches on for miles.
