We arrived in Liverpool on Friday evening and spent a quiet night in our hotel. This allowed for an early morning and a quick departure heading down to the docks. After a confusing route through a series of round-abouts we happened on a car park and pulled in. By coincidence it was exactly the right parking area and we left the underground area exactly where we wanted to be, at the Albert docks.

We made our way directly to the Beatles Story, a museum dedixtsd to the Fab 4 and their 8 years as the famous group. It was a very good museum giving details of their rise to fame.

Continuing in the musical theme, we went to the Liverpool Museum where we visited the John LennonYoko Ono exhibition, also very interesting.

Finally we went on to the British Music Scene which is a rock and roll review of Britain's music scene from the 40's to the modern day.

We topped off our Liverpool experience with a visit to a movie theater where we saw The House With a Clock On The Wall, a mediocre film, but a good way to rest weary legs and feet.
