We were slowly making our way back to Sydney and had three places left on our list to see. One was Merimbula, a place where Paul had worked for a surveyor who was laying out a new subdivision. (This was of course 50 years ago) when we arrived Merimbula was a large community...much bigger than expected and a bit overwhelming so we pressed on.
Our ultimate.destination was Bateman's Bay...a location where Paul, his family and friends spent time back in the day. This area has also grown exponentially! We explored a bit and couldn't find anything familiar. We decided to stay for a day and enjoy local Muala beach.
