Dec 1 - Wilson's Promontory

We left Melbourne heading South intending to go to Wilson's Promontory, the most southern point in Australia.  We arrived at the large penninsula where huge sandunes were scattered amongst mountains.

Unfortunately we could not reach the most southern moint as it required q huge hike into the far reaches of the park.  I guess we can say that we made it close to the most southern point, or just north of the most southern point.

We were unable to enjoy the walks but we stopped at the lookouts along the way.  At one we saw a rock which we speculated may have promted the name "Wilson's Promotory"

We left this area where there was only camping options for accomodation  and made our way to Sale with the intention of visiting ninety mile beach the following day.

We had a meal in an Irish Pub where Murphy!s Law saw explained in full!
